POSITION: Housing Coordinator- F/T
PROGRAM/ Transitional Shelters
LOCATION: Crotona Inn/ Flushing Residence
  Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens

BASIC FUNCTION:
Responsible for the administration, management and delivery of all housing programs, services and targets. In additio, this candidate will provide management support to the Program Director and in his/her absence performs duties as assigned. The Housing Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring all shelter sites meet their Housing Targets.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide staff training on resources, models of engagement in the housing arena, reporting requirements, facilitation of housing workshops, outreach, and required DHS reporting and reconciliations.
  • Implement and administer policies and procedures within all housing programs and its service components.
  • Manage case conferencing with LTS, 9-month stayers, and non-compliant consumers.
  • Access housing alternatives and opportunities and prepare strategies to enlisting all staff into a housing resource culture change.
  • Review all consumer housing CAPS on the Advantage Programs.
  • Manage and administer Client Trach Result card data and reports and DHS result card data and report accordingly.
  • Analyze all sites’ housing placements and conduct analysis.
  • Assist with completion of audits and follow up on Auditor’s recommendations.
  • Must be able to create and complete various reports and meet deadlines.
  • Computer experience is a must in all Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, Publisher, Visio, etc.)

    QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s Degree preferred. Bachelor’s Degree required (preferable in Public or Business Administration or a closely related field with six years experience in one or more of several administrative capacities.
  • Valid NYS Drvier’s License.
