BASIC FUNCTION:
Nurse-Family Partnership is a nationally recognized  nurse home visiting program  that has scientifically demonstrated multi-generational outcomes that benefit parents, children and society. NFP nurses provide education and support to improve the health and welfare of  low-income, first time parents and their children.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The Nurse Supervisor is responsible for the clinical and administrative management of their teams’ delivery of the program while ensuring fidelity to the NFP model.
  • Interface with a wide range of community providers and stakeholders with the overarching goal of improving the health, development and economic trajectories of low-income first-time mothers and their children.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS Degree (Nursing) required. Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Current NYS RN licensure required.
  • Strong experience in one or more of the following: OB/GYN, Family Practice, Pediatrics, and/or Community Mental Health complemented by supervisory/administrative experience.
