Schools

SCO Family of Services provides educational opportunities for children and young adults who face a variety of challenges. We run special education schools that help kids overcome physical, emotional or developmental hurdles. We operate schools that give at-risk teens the support they need as they work towards a brighter future. No matter what difficulties our students face, our goal is to help every individual reach his or her potential.

The Christopher School

The Christopher School is a 12-month therapeutic residential school that will serve 24 children with developmental disabilities who require 24-hour supervision. Located on the grounds of the Crossroads Campus in the Bronx, its proximity allows the kids to maintain close contact with their families and communities.

The Christopher School provides a safe, nurturing home environment as well as an integrated educational experience. The treatment plan for each child is seamlessly integrated throughout their day. Moreover, when the child reaches age 21, SCO will provide a smooth transition to an adult placement carefully chosen to meet the needs of each child.
